Do you suffer for your art? yes

What inspires you to work? depression and passion

What determined your passion for design? Tell us about the moment when you decided this is the way to go. i only wanted to build space ships and submarines since i was a kid.
Were you always interested in design? no, i only wanted to draw and dream
Can we talk a bit about your process at the beginning of a project? How do you conceive of it? How do you build it in your mind before you start? i get bored with the present world very easy so its very easy for me to create a space and concept to take me to a far more interesting environment. i normally look at a space and it tells its own story to me in every detail with in a few minutes, after that its just a avalanche of details that pile into my mind.

Which colours, textures and techniques do you prefer in furniture design? i like first and foremost for the furniture to be comfortable for the guest and then i like to use velvets, leathers suedes and soft foams with accents of timber , copper and steal and brass. it varies on each design on the materials.

Describe one of your most enjoyable projects. none, i only want to design boats and submarines and i have never had the chance yet.

What is your understanding of how interior architecture and exterior architecture complete the project design?
it has to be classy, timeless and match.

From your point of view, is design an art or a science? no idea, I’m not educated enough to answer that question.

Do you have any rules? yes, don’t work for cheep skates.

When you do large projects, how do you know when it is finished? it never is, the client stops spending.

How would your life change if you were no longer allowed to create art? i would be happy sailing around the world.

Share something you would like the world to know about you. nothing, I’m fussy and boring.

What famous artists have influenced you, and how? none, i never studied art.

What other interests do you have outside of art? shipwreck hunting.

What are your next projects? Vietnam, mumbai, melbourne, thailand, nyc.
