The 3rd Call for Ideas by Future Architecture platform urges multi-disciplinary, emerging creatives who work on transformative projects within the field of architecture to apply for participation in the 2018 program.
Future Architecture is a key platform for exchange and networking, and integrates some of Europe’s most important architectural events. The platform enables architecture museums, festivals, producers, publishers, agencies, academic institutions and professionals to easily connect and build joint projects.
Emerging talents are invited to collaborate with 20 established architectural institutions and organizations throughout Europe and to present their work to a wide audience. The 2018 interation of the program is a series of interconnected activities including three exhibitions, five conferences, four lecture series, a workshop and a summer school, as well as prototyping and publishing activities.
All applications will be published on the website of the Future Architecture platform. Applications will be judged by the board of members, Future Architecture alumni and the public. The selected applicants will be invited to present their ideas at the Future Architecture Matchmaking Conference in MAO (Museum of Architecture and Design) in Ljubljana, where Future Architecture members will select the participants for their upcoming activities within the program.

Future Architecture is the first pan-European platform of architecture museums, festivals and producers, bringing ideas on the future of cities and architecture closer to the wider public.
Think Future. They highlight the emerging generation of talents in various disciplines and explore and share their ideas about the future of cities and architecture.
Exchange. 18 organisers from 15 countries are creating a pan-European programme, tour emerging creators and present their ideas at exhibitions, conferences, lectures and workshops, in books and on the web.
Raise awareness. The platform makes complex issues of architecture comprehensible to everyone, and promotes a more sustainable living environment.
Build commitment. A Future Architecture European Quality label recognizes organisers who work with aspiring emerging talents and show their commitment to the platform objectives.
The Future Architecture platform introduces and celebrates innovation, experimentation and the ideas of a generation that will design the architecture and build Europe’s cities in the years to come. It promotes European innovation, architecture, culture, knowledge and social capital through a single common platform.
