Jordan Lawley (Irvine/San Diego, CA), a four-year starter at UC San Diego, Jordan lead his team to their first ever NCAA tournament berth while becoming the all-time scoring leader, making the most field goals, free throws, and highest field goal percentage in school history.

Upon finishing his collegiate career averaging over 21 pts/game and being named an NCAA All-American and Daktronics West Coast Player of the Year, Jordan played professional basketball in Mexico (16pts/game) and New Zealand (18pts/game), and was just selected by Nike in 2014 as one of the top 16 players in the world to play in Barcelona, Spain for the Nike Summer is Serious II game.

Now, as a professional trainer, he has found his stride with a training technique that is unrivaled. He has travelled all over the U.S. to work with and train countless pro’s in the NBA, overseas (FIBA), WNBA, and thousands of Middle School and High School hoopers all around the world teaching them the efficient and effective way to take their game to the next level!

Who is Jordan Lawley? Ex Professional Basketball player and current NBA Skills Trainer.

How and when did you start to play professional basketball ? I started playing professional basketball in 2011 when I got done playing collegiate basketball at UC San Diego.

What has been your key (or keys) to success? Passion fuels Growth and Consistent Growth leads to Success!

Who is your favorite childhood Basketball player? Allen Iverson.

What kinds of things are you doing to make yourself the best player you can be? Constant and Consistent work ethic.

Who’s been the most influential person in your Basketball career? Ryan Hollins

Describe three of your most enjoyable moments? 1.) Hitting the game-winning shot in the Nike Summer is Serious game in Barcelona, Spain. 2.) Hitting a half-court shot to win the game against Sonoma State University 3.) Scoring a school record 44 points in a single game.

When and how you decided to become a NBA Skills & Shooting Coach? An act of God. Never thought I’d be in this situation, but it was a blessing to find myself in this career.

What does it consist on your workouts? Training my clients through Skill and Game Enhancement drills.

What is a good shot Jordan? Does it depend on time and score? A good shot depends on the defensive situation as well as time and possession.

How important is the effective communication between you and your coach assistants and players? Very important

How you motivate your team to play hard and play well? Showing them that I truly care about their success.

During practice, are you an energy giver? Yes.

Are your players tending to any nagging injuries or soreness? No.

Does your team warm-up and stretch properly before all practices and games? Yes.
