The fusion of east meets west is fully explored by Executive Chef Agung Gede in menus created and inspired by complex integration of Asian and Western flavors, styles and presentation. The emphasis is on thoughtful and authentic preparation that ensures the most complex tastes and textures, nothing exemplifies this better than the delectable eight-course degustation menu, paired with an exquisite selection of our sommelier’s hand-selected varietals.

Executive Chef Agung Gede continuously illustrates his inspiration in food sketches that reflect his concepts and ideas before translating them into a plate of culinary art. Led by Executive Sous Chef Ketut Gunatika under the guidance of Chef Agung Gede, Kayuputi continues to astonish discerning food connoisseurs from all around the world and continues to reign as the finest restaurant in Bali.

The white-wood décor of Kayuputi reflects the Indonesian meaning of the restaurant’s name. Its understated, elegant interior, accented by Indonesian art and artifacts, beautifully blends modern functionality and comfort.
