For how long have been in photography? How did you start? About 7 years, I started during my last year of high school. I got inspired on a vacation to California while watching my uncle work on a studio project. I fell in love and it shifted the whole direction of my life immediately.

How would you define yourself as an artist? I define myself more as a business person than an artist actually. I feel as if this is one of the unique things about me. I am attracted to the close up beauty angles so I suppose if I had to pick a specific artistic element this would be what I am most drawn to and what I find myself looking for in my shoots.

Where do you find inspiration? Current trends, skin, makeup, hair and most of all beautiful faces.

Is Brainstorming not the only creative method use to create new concepts? We are all influenced by social media these days so I feel that while brainstorming is primary, we have huge access to content that is constantly influencing our minds, now that we didn’t have before.

Please could you tell us about photography and digital technology? Photography is ever changing and ever evolving with technology. I love the ability to shoot 10,000 images in a day where film would have never had that ability.

What type of camera do you use most? Canon 5D mark iii

What is your favorite lens? Canon 100mm Macro

What has been your most memorable assignment and why? I love every job I get to work on with beauty clients. I love collaborating with teams and clients who appreciate beautiful skin and clean makeup as much as I do!

What are your favourite three images you have shot recently? Actually my 3 favorite images are all under wraps at the moment because they will be released in new editorial projects in the coming months.

How important is an awesome website for your business? By far thee most important marketing element. The website should be the hub of all activity.

What’s the most important quality a photographer needs to have? Patience and good business and marketing knowledge.

Which of your projects has given you the most satisfaction? Any of the projects with my beauty and fashion clients.

Who are the photographer’s you admire the most? Gavin O’Neill, Solve Sundsbo, Yulia Gorbachenko, Greg Kadel

What are your next projects?
I have several editorial projects in the works as well as some new beauty/hair clients I get to work with in the coming months.
