MAISON&OBJET ASIA – A curated show featuring high-end interior design concepts and solutions

MAISON&OBJET ASIA is an intelligent reflection of the ever-growing industry trends of the region. The show, held in Singapore at the Marina Bay Sands Expo and Convention Center, captures the spirit of a global hub where property developers, hoteliers, restaurateurs, interior designers and architects gain deeper insights into developing their business.

SINGAPORE IS A CULTURAL PLAYGROUND WITH AN IMPRESSIVE ARRAY OF ART AND ARCHITECTURE IN SOUTHEAST ASIA.

Singapore boasts an astonishing collection of ‘starchitects’.

The ArtScience Museum seemingly floating in Marina Bay is by Moshe Safdie. There is the unmistakable form of Zaha Hadid’s Biopolis, a biomedical research center in Buona Vista. The old City Hall and Supreme Court now houses the recently opened National Gallery, designed by Francois Milou, with the largest collection of art in Southeast Asia, while the new Supreme Court is by Norman Foster.

Other regeneration projects include Gillman Barracks, a former military base transformed into a contemporary art cluster, home to art galleries, restaurants, the NTU Centre for Contemporary Art (CCA), and coming soon a Design Museum by Supermama. Unsurprisingly Singapore has taken the lead in the 21st century with a cultural tempest of innovation and adaptation.
