How did you get into surfing? Got in touch with the ocean when I was a small child. My parents own a finca close to Barcelona. So my first attempts on the board where at the costa brava. When I was in Australia in my earlie twenties I totally fell in love with the beautiful beaches and the big waves. I did several lessons until I was able to ride the big waves.

Why do you do Surf? I love surfing. When I’m in the ocean I feel the nature at its best. I feel free. Riding a wave is more than just fun. For me, its freedom.

Who has been the greatest inspiration in your life today? The greatest inspiration for me was Nelosn Mandela so far, I read a lot of books about his life and its unbelievable that he gave his own life for his people.

At what point did you know surfing was going to be more than just a hobby for you? As I said, I got in touch with the water very early, I never lost the love to the ocean when I grew up. I traveld a lot and I always felt home when there was a beach.

Were you always interested in photography? I was, I always try to capture all the beautiful moments I expericence. ??

Could you give some surf tips? Surfing is not that hard if you really want to learn it. Its not bad to have respect for the ocean, because the ocean can be crazy powerful. But nobody should be scared of it. Just jump in and enjoy the time with your board. Start with a big one and get shorter as lomg as you can control it.

What do you think you would want to be if you weren’t a surfer? I’m not a professional surfer, I’m an business admin student and entrepreuner.

Describe your best experience surfing? My best experience was in Hawaii, Ohau at the North Shore. The feeling in Hawaii is very special for me. All the people there are so respectful with the nature and the ocean. The waves are crazy big and you can ride them endlessly.

What has been your biggest challenge in your life? Finishing all my studies while working 20 to 30 hours a week to finance myslef. I’m very porud that I can look back and tell myself that I was able to travel that much as a student withput any help.

What do you do in the off-season? Learning and working, I need to life from something XD

What is the biggest wave you have ever surfed? Would say that the biggest one was a 10 footer. Happend at the North Shore.

Have you had any close encounters with sharks? Never, I just saw a small one while I was diving at the great barrier reef in australia. But the shark was more scared about me than I was about him

What goes through your mind when you're in the middle of an epic wave like that? Nothing, I just feel the freedom and the hapiness that I’m that lucky to experience something like that

Who are the sportsmen or sportswomen you admire the most? The coolest sportman on earth is kelly slater. He won almost everything and he is such a big inspiration

Who you’d like to travel with you in your van for a surf event? Kelly Slater! I want to listen to his stories and want to get good tipps how I can improve myself as well.

Where do you most want to travel, but have never been? I truly want to see Bali, its on my bucket list. I’ll hopefully see it next year.

How would your friends describe you? Funny and honest. Think they would describe me as a good friend. A very spontaneous good friend.?
