PULSE Miami Beach returns to Indian Beach Park from Thursday, December 7 to Sunday, December 10, 2017.
Founded in 2005, PULSE Contemporary Art Fair is an established part of the annual art calendar and is recognized for providing its international community of emerging and established galleries with a dynamic platform for connecting with a global audience. PULSE offers visitors an engaging environment in which to discover and collect the most compelling contemporary art being produced today.
In 2016, after twelve years of providing a platform for the international art community in New York, PULSE Contemporary Art Fair decided to focus solely on the evolution of the Miami Beach edition. PULSE360 was launched in 2017, furthering PULSE’s mission by bringing together an inclusive community for year-round experiences centered around art and culture.
PULSE Miami Beach welcomes an international roster of exhibitors presenting an engaging overview of the most compelling contemporary art being produced today. The fair is comprised of curated sections.
In the GALLERIES section, each exhibitor presents a curated group show of three or more artists. These exhibitors can be found in the North Tent.
In the SOLO section, located in the South Tent, exhibitors present works from one of their represented artists. Each of these artists is nominated for the PULSE PRIZE, a jury-awarded cash grant presented directly to the artist.
CONVERSATIONS offers a special focus for exhibitors to explore new visual and conceptual dialogues between two artists. CONVERSATIONS exhibitors can be found in the South Tent.
POINTS is a dedicated section of the fair for alternative models and non-profits that can be found in the South Tent.
In 2015, PULSE began producing experiences for audiences outside of the fair environment, from conversations surrounding women in the arts to get-togethers connecting industry leaders for meaningful dialogue . These successful endeavors led to the formation of PULSE360, a year-round events initiative, launched in 2017, in which art enthusiasts and collectors are invited to participate in intimate, thoughtful and connective experiences centered around art and culture. Membership is by invitation only and includes VIP access to PULSE Miami Beach, exclusive invitations to intimate events hosted by PULSE and our partner organizations, plus year-round perks and insider information offered by our collaborators.
PULSE360 events are currently in the works for Los Angeles, Miami, New York and San Francisco. Previous PULSE360 events have included:
