For how long have been in photography? How did you start?
Forever I started shooting really early with my dads camera then got a few 35mm point and shoot including a weird but interesting beast call canon epoca, which at the time, had a huge build in zoom lens.

How would you define yourself as an artist?
I strongly believe that art is the ultimate goal of humanity and as such each human being should try to develop their artistic abilities.
As an artist I will define myself more as a visual artist since I am absolutely fascinated by image and the power of it.
But I also think every artist should try as many form of art he could, I tried music and composed a few basic pieces…recently I have been experimenting 3 Dimensional drawing using a 3d printing pen to build volumetric structures my first try is a human being about 2/3 the size of a real person but its still pretty primitive ahahah

Where do you find inspiration?
Inspiration is always around us, you just have to look around and let your environment sink in. Obviously there is a selection process there and im sure its different for everyone, for me its just being open to what surrounds you and take action, jump in opportunities that you feel like could be interesting.

Who has been the greatest inspiration in your life today?
I have two people that I think changed the world on much more level that what people think : Steve Jobs and Elon Musk.
Both of them had are still having a huge impact in our everyday life steve jobs created the first personal computer that anyone could use the Macintosh, and came back to create the iPod then most importantly the iPhone which is the new computer but really is the first multifunctional adaptative device. Its a phone, a music player, a web browser an email client and a camera !!
Elon Musk with Tesla and space X is bringing back dynamism in core fields such as transportation ( tesla ) and space exploration and possibly space travel and colonization ( Space x )

What for you is the most enjoyable part of your photography?

Just seizing the moment, capturing that instant in time and lock it as you saw it.

Is Brainstorming not the only creative method use to create new concepts?
I think it can be great method, but I believe creativity can also be at least for me some organic process, the best idea or concept never came out to me after a brainstorming but more by various ideas coming to my mind to create a new one.

Please could you tell us about photography and digital technology?
I have been an early adopter my whole life and as such use mainly my Sony A7RII but even more my pihone 7 which is a great camera
I have shot better pictures ( from my point of view ) with my iPhone than with any of my more expensive / professional cameras…
At the moment I am experimenting with the snapchat spectacles who give a unique opportunity to capture your environment while staying out of your way letting you do whatever you are doing and capturing fragments..
I think its time some new concept such as this come. Digital era brought a lot of good things but it also produces tons and tons of useless content ( think about family videos that last for hours and hours…)
The 10-30 sec the Spectacles record are great to concentrate on capturing the essential>
This with the form factor and the circular video format that frees you from having to frame ( basically everything you see is recordered ) makes them the most interesting capturing device on the market right now.

What type of camera do you use most?
Iphone 7 , Sony a7rII, Snapchat spectacles.

What is your favorite lens?
I really like my Nikon 55mm f1.2 with gives a nice vintage look with a very nice bokeh and nice chromatic aberration. I also like shooting with the Zeiss super speed when shooting moving images.I dislike the look of more modern lenses that have a more clinical look to them.

What has been your most memorable assignment and why?
It was my first big commercial assignment for some kind of experiences gift card company, think Groupon circa 2007 😉
We flew to morocco to shoot and we had multiple set ups and when the client arrived he was shocked because of how young I looked as a cinematographer !!
But the shoot went really well it went so well that the client actually bough one of my picture for the same campaign 🙂

What are your favourite three images you have shot recently?
I dont think I have 3 specific favorite images I shot recently.
In general I just can’t help myself taking pictures, so the 3 favorite pictures I shot recently might be the 3 pictures I will shoot next.

How important is an awesome website for your business?
It is important and right now mine needs a complete revamp, but at the moment I am building several businesses in the consumer tech space so my photography website will have to wait….
But I am planning on releasing an updated version in the next 6 months 🙂

What’s the most important quality a photographer needs to have?

I would say the most important quality would be to be curious and always ready to capture a moment that would have been missed by most people.

List of your clients?
Microsoft, AOL, Manpower, Thales,M6,cinna, Scott sports, carte Kuro

What about architects and designers?
Le Corbusier, Gustave Eiffel

What are your next projects?
On top of my business ventures, I am working on a few series right now one is exclusively drone photography and I think its really exciting to be able to capture images with such a degree of freedom and virtually unlimited angles..
